To save paint, a shorter application distance is the easy solution, but it brings difficulties to keep same width of pattern for the cycle time and good appearance quality.
The new air shroud design maintains a wide pattern even at shortest distance of 100mm. And the new bell cup EC65 is bigger than EC50 bell cup, in order to compensate the lower rotation speed required for greater transfer efficiency. For the same purpose, we also designed new serration to keep small droplets.
On existing PPH 707 SB 1K or 2K (and all Multi-Triggers versions), you only have to change bell cup and air-shroud to benefit from these performances.
Because clear coat layer is carrying VOC, saving paint helps the paintshop to reach VOC emission targets.
